Updated: February 27th, 2005: Site Help

Downloads are protected by anti-leech and there are daily download limits, if you get an error that the download limit has been reached, please try again another day, subject to the file still being online. You should get an error with how many hours till the next reset. Note that the anti-leech plugin ONLY works with Computers running Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, If you are using an Apple Mac, I am sorry but you will not be able to download any files as anti-leech does not support it.

You will need to download and install the anti-leech plugin, or you can use netpumper, a download manager which I recommend as it will enable you to resume downloads should there be a problem during the transfer, as well as allowing you to resume even if the download limit has been reached. There is a forum at anti-leech where you can post your problem and hopefully get an answer to solve it. The forum specifically for the anti-leech browser plugin is here

If you get any errors, please refer to the link at the bottom of the anti-leech applet for help and check the anti-leech help FAQ or see below for a reason for the 2 most common errors:

ERROR DETECTED!

----------------------------------------------------------------
Download Stopped!

We do not allow downloads where we can't track the site you came from (blank referrals).
Please go back and try again or contact the webmaster of the site you came from about allowing this in the future.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Then it could be because of these reasons.
You must use the link on the download page
If you copy the link and then paste it into your browser you will get that error.
If you bookmark the page you will get the error.
If you are behind a proxy server you will get that error
If you are using a high security firewall you will get that error.

The above is required to keep my download sites secure, so make sure that none of the above applies to you

Or

"The site you came from is not allowed to use this file, it has been copied from another site. This action has been logged."

This error usually occurs where the link to my files has been copied and used on another site.

If the above does not apply then you can use the forum at anti-leech where you can post your problem and hopefully get an answer to solve it. The forum specifically for the anti-leech browser plug-in is here

If you get this error:

ERROR DETECTED
You are not allowed to access this page! Please leave.

It means your IP number has been blocked from downloading files from my sites, due to breaking my rules and procedures. If you feel this is incorrect, please submit your details on the form in the top right hand corner and I will look into it.

:: If you use a firewall you may need to enable cookies or disabled the firewall temporarily.,
:: To download a file only left click on it like a normal page link, and make sure you let the pop-up load.
(right clicking and selecting 'Save Target As' will not work as i have disabled this.
:: For people on Dialup i strongly suggest you install NetPumper through the button on the po-pup window as with this you'll be able to pause and resume your download at anytime.
:: Please Note: some browsers and operating systems are not supported (the following are supported: Explorer, Netscape, Opera and Mozilla running under Windows)
:: As we have daily download limits, if it displays that the daily download limit has been reached just try again later or after the time displayed in the message (downloads are available again in such and such hours, minutes and seconds).

We have daily download limits. If it's not working, try again tomorrow.
